CrunchTime! Announces Installation Of Enterprise Manager On Cunard Line Fleet Of Cruise Ships
April, 2002
CrunchTime! Information Systems Inc. announced today that it is moving forward with the installation and implementation of its Enterprise Manager application on the Cunard Line’s fleet of cruise ships. Two ships in Cunard’s Seabourn Line are currently using Enterprise Manager for their purchasing, inventory and production management needs. CrunchTime! implementation and training specialists will be on board a third, the Seabourn Spirit, beginning April 30, to install the software and train the ship staff on its use.
The Cunard Line’s larger ships -- the Queen Elizabeth 2, the Caronia, and the brand new Queen Mary 2, due to make its maiden voyage in 2003, will also use Enterprise Manager. These implementations are scheduled to begin later this year.
Enterprise Manager allows the Cunard Line to manage the purchasing and inventory of thousands of products on each of its ships. It can receive and analyze bids from vendors around the world using multiple currencies and taxation methods. Voyage scheduling, recipe and menu analysis, internal requisitions and transfers, and company-wide reporting are among the many features that made the Cunard Line choose CrunchTime! as its back office solution provider.
