CrunchTime! Information Systems Announces the Release of Enterprise Manager v 2.0

August, 1999

CrunchTime! Information Systems of Boston, MA announces the release of Enterprise Manager Version 2.0, its enterprise back office system for multi-unit food and beverage operations.

This application combines perpetual inventory control, purchasing, menu engineering, production planning, staff scheduling and time recording, and intra-company distribution with the latest client-server and internet technologies to provide an easy-to-use, but very powerful system.

At the restaurant level, the system provides management the option of a thin or thick client. In either case, the remote site can take advantage of (1) cutting edge e-commerce capabilities including transmitting orders, updating prices, and confirming shipment of orders from web based components, (2) integrated barcode labeling and handheld computer features, and (3) greatly simplified inventory and product receiving processes. In addition, the thick client application has an integrated distribution module for commissary or hotel operations in which products are issued from a central location to external profit centers.

At the corporate level, the system offers centralized administration, on-line transaction processing with interfaces to accounting, and a powerful exception-based reporting system with both LAN and web based access.

Enterprise Manager is 3-tier application that can operate on an Oracle, SQL Server or Sybase back-end. CrunchTime! offers stand-alone, workgroup, and enterprise versions of the application.
