This person will develop solutions to complex business requirements, providing a scalable and efficient architecture to support our suite of ERP applications. The ideal person has full life cycle experience and a proven ability to analyze, design and build complex database transaction and reporting solutions.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

• Develops PL/SQL scripts for complex business requirements through analysis, design, development, testing, debugging and documentation phases
• Performs Modeling/Schema design
• Performs database tuning and optimization (schema and SQL)
• Assists the development staff with complex SQL
• Creates and maintains database upgrade scripts
• Delivers work estimates for proposed changes, both small and large in scope
• Troubleshoots problems and provides solutions to them
• Creates SQL scripts to repair client data and/or fulfill client data modification requests

Skills

• Proven experience with Complex Data Modeling/Entity Relationship Modeling and Design

Technical Lead Java / Web Developer

CrunchTime! has an immediate opening for a fulltime Technical Lead Java / Web Developer. This person will provide the technical leadership required to build and maintain our world class ERP suite. The ideal candidate has proven experience as a technical lead on mission critical projects.

Primary Role:

• The development role is split between architecting and hands-on development of critical system components across the core application and front end. The application side utilizes Java, Groovy, Perl, and Tomcat while the front end uses JSP, JavaScript, and Ajax.
• Work directly with the project manager to provide estimates, establish deadlines, and assist with the design and development of complex effort
• Mentor junior team members
• Ability to work with a minimum of supervision while ensuring the highest quality assurance and testing standards.

Ideal Skills

• Experience developing large scale enterprise applications with J2EE technologies
• Expert knowledge of the latest client side technologies: HTML, JavaScript, CSS
• Strong knowledge of Perl or PHP
• Nice to have experience with GWT, JSON, CSS, JMS, SQL, IBatis

Data Warehouse Engineer

CrunchTime! has an immediate opening for a Data Warehouse Engineer. This person will develop solutions to complex business requirements, providing a scalable and efficient architecture to support the reporting needs of our suite of ERP applications. The ideal person has full life cycle experience and a proven ability to analyze, design and build complex database transaction and reporting solutions.

Primary Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supporting the architecture and design of the data warehouse, data marts and BI reports which will support various data initiatives
• Perform hands-on design, development and testing within the ETL tool environment using a mixture of GUI driven tools and hands-on SQL
• Provide ETL design, development and testing estimations based business requirements and research into data that is currently sourced
• Educate client management and business users on business value and capabilities of data warehousing
• Provide advice and guidance on data warehousing approaches and solutions, and use of data warehousing methodology
• Assist in identifying and prioritizing business information needs, and defining business benefit of data warehousing
• Assist in evaluating and selecting data warehousing tools for business intelligence, data population, data management, metadata management, and warehouse administration
• Identify data warehousing issues and assist in their resolution
• Facilitates requirements definition and contributes to documentation of project and system documentation
• Research and analyze various data source systems, applications and perform data research/analysis
• Provide project, system and other technical documentation as required

Skills

• Proven experience with Complex Dimensioning Modeling and Design in a star schema
• Must have experience designing & building Data Warehouse environment from scratch
• Experience with near to real time Data Warehouse
• Experience working with up to 1 terabyte of data
• At least 2 years of experience with designing and implementing reporting applications with a leading BI tool suite such as Cognos, Business Objects, Hyperion, etc
• Proven experience developing PL/SQL for large scale software applications
• Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, as well as using pl/sql for ETL
• Ability to process complex business requirements and develop a stable, scalable, and efficient architecture to support those requirements

PowerBuilder Developer

CrunchTime’s Development group is seeking a PowerBuilder Developer to support and enhance our industry leading enterprise management application. This position requires a strong background in Object Oriented Design.  A successful candidate will exhibit a high level of self-motivation and independence while working in a team environment.  The candidate will be expected to contribute to the evolution of PowerBuilder development processes as well as support other teams at CrunchTime!.  The technical requirements are important, but so is the ability to fit into our team environment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands-on client server development with either PowerBuilder or Visual Basic.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Solid unit testing skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot software defects, identify the root cause and propose a solution efficiently.
• Ability to work with QA Engineers to get new development and defects completed.
