CrunchTime!’s Quality Assurance group is seeking a talented Sr. QA Engineer to join the Product Development team to enhance our ability in delivering high-quality software. The ideal candidate will have experience with planning, creating, and executing test plans for both manual and automated testing environments using standard QA methodology. The candidate will have strong manual testing skills and exhibit a high level of self-motivation and independence working in a team environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent)
3+ years experience manual testing in Client/Server and browser-based environments
Strong QA methodology knowledge including complex testing techniques
Strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in the QA process
Ability to lead and manage multiple complex testing projects
Provides technical leadership to team members and small groups on multiple projects
Excellent ability to develop test cases to meet all business requirements and maximize test coverage
Create clear and concise defect submissions, troubleshoot defects and identify root causes
Interact with developers to understand technical designs
Construct complex SQL queries and perform backend data validation
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to identify and communicate risk while providing innovative solutions to test the exposed areas of the application
Committed to the development of the organization’s goals and objectives
Preferred Skills:
Experience with HP's QuickTest Professional (QTP)
Experience with Perl, JavaScript, PHP, or XML
Ability to stage large scale data sets across multiple QA environments
Experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) architectures and delivery model
Experience with financial and/or Supply Chain management systems
