QA Engineer

The ideal Quality Assurance Engineer candidate will have experience manual testing using standard QA methodologies and exhibit a high level of self-motivation and independence while working in a team environment.

Requirements:

• Experience manual testing in Client/Server and browser based environments
• Exposure to standard QA process and methodologies
• Strong analytical skills
• Detail oriented
• Ability to create clear, concise defect submissions
• Ability to troubleshoot software defects and identify the root cause
• Ability to work with Development Engineers to get bugs documented and fixed
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred:

• Ability to construct SQL queries
• Ability to handle/organize multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience testing within software development organizations
• Exposure to Mercury automated test tools
• Experience with Perl & PL/SQL Scripting
