Cruise LinesWe are working with many of the great cruise lines in the world including Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity, Costa, Cunard, Aida, Seabourn, P&O UK, P&O Australia, and Spirit Cruises. We have worked intensely with each of the companies in this industry to develop a tool set that is unmatched in this space. In addition we have performed our Asset Conversion Cycle Blueprint (operating process evaluation and re-engineering) with virtually all of our cruise line customers. To support this industry, we have developed proprietary replication processes to synchronize remote databases that could be anywhere in the world at any given time. For this same reason, the supply chain and warehousing requirements of this industry are extraordinarily complex. For each customer we have maintain a product strategy to ensure that we are meeting the evolving needs of these companies and we continue to build many new features to address them.A critical aspect of this industry is the ability to generate a suggested order that considers a variety of parameters, including historical consumption patterns, future guest counts, supplier lead time, incoming future orders, and itineraries; and the ability to track virtually every product (food, beverage, supplies, etc) received on the ship from the time it is received at the central storeroom to the outlet/cost center to the consumer. Each Cruise ship might have dozens of restaurants, bars and cost outlets and inventory must be managed with great precision if they are to be successful. We continue to work closely with these companies to perfect this model. |
