Year in Review: A Look Back at 2025 with Crunchtime

This time of year reminds us how much restaurant teams give: the early mornings, late nights, and everything in between. It’s also a time for reflection. And there’s quite a bit to look back on this year, and we have the stats to prove it: 

  • Crunchtime is now supporting 90% of the top 50 restaurant brands in the U.S. and more than one-third of the top 500. That represents 850+ brands across 150,000+ locations in 100+ countries around the world. 


  • With employees across three continents, Crunchtime’s headcount has grown to 500+, thanks largely to our merger with the QSR Automations team, which created the first and only operations suite connecting the complete food lifecycle.

2025 Product Enhancement Highlights

  • Crunchtime Insights
    • Unified Metric Templates: New pre-built template that pulls data from POS, Inventory Management, Labor & Scheduling, and Zenput into one dashboard. This is the fastest way to get a complete, cross-functional picture of your operational health.
    • Task Completion Data Add-on: Zenput data, including task and project completions, is now available to be added to Crunchtime Insights.
  • Crunchtime Data Streaming
    • Data Streaming for Zenput: Have data flow directly into your data warehouse to do deeper analysis and make smarter decisions. Easily pull large amounts of data from Zenput to process and manipulate as you like.
  • Inventory Management
    • The new Inventory mobile app unified the best of previous apps (Counter, Reconciler, and Impact), all wrapped in a significantly improved user experience.
    • Continued enhancements for AI forecasting by incorporating new data points like weather and holidays to provide even greater accuracy.
    • The invoice scanner makes it easy to digitize paper invoices using your device’s camera.
  • Labor & Scheduling
    • A fully redesigned weekly schedule in Teamworx, built to make scheduling faster and more efficient.
    • Time clock supports geofencing and enables employees to easily punch in and out of shifts on the Teamworx mobile app.
    • Personal calendar integration enables employees to sync their Teamworx schedules to their personal calendars on iOS and Android devices.
    • Teamworx supports Spanish translation for greater accessibility.
  • Zenput
    • Increased Zenput's data analysis capabilities through integration with Insights and support for data streaming.
    • Added helpful new usability features like:
      • Sounds for temp taking so you can hear if something passes or fails
      • New "completed late" status to ensure work gets done on time
      • Capabilities just for franchise business coaches (FBCs) to enable them to have their own role in Zenput to review audits and assign corrective actions
  • Learning & Development 
    • Launched a new mobile app that supports a more streamlined user experience, better UX, and more.

  • Monthly Customer Webinars
    • Exclusively for customers, each session focuses on a different product, and customers of all Crunchtime products are invited to join. Learn about what’s new and coming next, and engage directly with our team during the Q&A session.
  • Crunchtime Customer Innovation Panel (CIP)
    • This is a new initiative to bring customers directly into the product feedback cycle. CIP participants will take part in early prototype testing, feedback sessions, and user interviews to help our product team gather insights that inform and improve our roadmap. 
  • Ideas Portal 
    • Submit an idea using our Aha! platform to suggest your approach to improving ops management.
