Course Abstract

25 minutes

Promote a harassment-free work environment, and reduce potential liability by teaching managers about vicarious liability and the responsibility of managers to prevent, identify, and report harassment in the workplace. An interactive scenario-based activity lets managers use critical thinking to determine if behavior is or is not acceptable and provides effective methods for educating and communicating with staff about harassment prevention.

  • Educates managers on how to identify harassment, abusive conduct, or bullying behavior

  • Illustrates the negative chain reaction that occurs when a workplace becomes hostile and the impact on guests and profitability
  • Includes practical examples of harassment based on gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation
