Improve your work environment and provide better guest service by educating your managers on the provisions of employment, discrimination, and harassment laws that impact your business. Armed with this critical information, your managers will provide a better experience for everyone and minimize the risk of lawsuits.

  • View some of the ways the Civil Rights Act has been expanded, including age and pregnancy discrimination plus victims’ rights

  • Practice determining the best course of action when presented with situations in which discrimination may be occurring

  • Analyze situations in which hostile workplace harassment may be occurring

  • Learn the key to giving great service to customers with disabilities

  • Confirm comprehension with five fact-based and scenario-based quizzes that require an 80% passing grade
  • Identify some of the basic impacts of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 on the workplace, including Title VII provisions and the three basic exceptions

  • Understand the two primary forms of workplace discrimination

  • Explore the impact of the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972 including the protected class designation and the role of the EEOC

  • Review the Americans with Disabilities Act including explanations of essential functions, qualified applicant, reasonable accommodation and undue hardship
